What was the highlight of Hotel Lido Havana

Unsatisfactory

Live reggae music to the breakfast.

Lukewarm coffee at breakfast. No hot water in the shower. Housekeeping not everyday and that was not satisfactory since we had to put the toiletpaper into the trashcan after going to the bathroom.

Excellent location, uninterested staff, small room, poor breakfast

For that hotel I can say that the location is excellent and this is the only thing I can recommend.

First of all we have no window on our room and this information we didn't get on our confirmation of reservation. When I asked about that at the reception they just told me that they have no more rooms with the window but they didn't offer some discount for that. Breakfast was OK but far below the price for that hotel, $80 per night for twin room without window???, something was wrong with the drainage in the bathroom and during the shower the water runs very slowly or even runs into the bedroom

It was good.

The location is brilliant, as well as the staff. The room was big enough and clean, the breakfast also was good. The restaurant is on the fifth floor and you have good view over neighbouring part of Habana.

Although this hotel is located in the central part of the city, the neighbouring streets were not clean. But this is the problem which concerns the whole city. On the other side, one can witness the real life of the citizens of Habana.

Great location but dirty and depressing rooms.

The staff were friendly. The location was excellent, right by El Capitolio in old Havana.There was live music in the roof top restaurant at breakfast and in the lobby during the day.

The cleanliness. Everything was grubby. The under sheet on the bed was stained. There was no window in the bedroom. It stank of chemicals or fly spray. The built-in cupboard was damp. There was no hot water most of the time.

Hotel is OK, close to the old part of Havana, but in Havana Centro - typical street for this part of the city

Smaller hotel in the middle of the city.

The location was great. Walking distance to everything. The staff is super friendly.

Some of the rooms are not as “fun” as the others. The breakfast could be better (like the rest of the food in Cuba).

The location is great.

The location is great. You can walk to any places in the old city.

The rooms are very simple. The hotel does not give me invoice for our stay. They said the booking.com should give me the invoice since it was Booking.com who charged on my credit card. But the Booking.com said just opposite.

Not as expected

Near the city center.

Room door handle was loose, AC unit cable was broken and dangerous, the window was broken wooden slats with no glass and looked onto a brick wall. We asked for another room and were shown a few, but the one we had was better than the rest because the ones with proper windows were very hot, bright (with non-black-out-curtains) and smelt of smoke, the hotel needs to be renovated. The location is near the city center, but you have to walk through a few dirty back streets to find it, but the staff were ok and it's a safe place to stay.

Location was great! Close to everything. The staff didn´t speak much english but was friendly and helpful. Our room was on the top floor so nice views to the city. Room was clean, there was hot water and a working AC.

Wellcome staff very nice and friendly. Room was no luxurious but clean and comfortable. Very easy access to old Havana area being just one behind the main street. Morning starts early there are two schools on the same street but I dont recall noise to wake you up so it is nice too. Breakfast included and it is quite good. I believe it is value for the money.
